Teaching Practice Week 5 ( Phase 1)

Day 16 23/09/2024

I reached the school around 08:55 AM and signed my attendance. The school started with prayer and followed by pledge. And the headmistress gave us the list of free periods. We went to the assigned classes. I was assigned to classes 10B, 9A, 7A on 5th , 7th and 8th period respectively. After that we done our lunch duty of serving meals to the students during lunch break. After all classes National Anthem was around 03:30 PM after that we done our evening discipline duty, later signed our attendance and left the school.


Day 17 24/09/2024

I reached the school around 09:15 AM and signed my attendance. The school started with prayer and followed by pledge.According to timetable, I had class on 3rd period at 9B. And the headmistress gave us the list of free periods. We went to the assigned classes.  After that we done our lunch duty of serving meals to the students from 12:30 PM  to 12:50 PM. After all classes National Anthem was around 03:30 PM after that we done our evening discipline duty, later signed our attendance and left the school.


Day 18 25/09/2024 

I reached the school around 09:15 AM and signed my attendance. The school started with prayer and followed by pledge.The teaching trainees of KUCTE Kariavattom had performed a street play in the school auditorium on the subject "Drug Abuse and it's after effects" as the part of their community living camp.That was very interesting. The programme went till noon so I was not able to take my class. Then we done our lunch duty of serving meals to the students. On 7th period, I got substitution on class 9B. After all classes National Anthem was around 03:30 PM after that we done our evening discipline duty, later signed our attendance and left the school.


Day 19 26/09/2024

I reached the school around 09:15 AM and signed my attendance. The school started with prayer and followed by pledge. The first year B.Ed trainees from KUCTE Kariavattom came to the school for their induction programme. Today I had obesrvation and from our Keerthana madam observed my class and valued during my 3rd period on 9B. And the headmistress gave us the list of free periods and want to go as substitutes.We went to the assigned classes. After that we done our lunch duty of serving meals to the students from 12:30 PM  to 12:50 PM. After all classes National Anthem was around 03:30 PM after that we done our evening discipline duty, later signed our attendance and left the school.

Day 20 27/09/2024

I reached the school around 09:15 AM and signed my attendance. The school started with prayer and followed by pledge. I had class on 9B at 3rd period. And the headmistress gave us the list of free periods and want to go as substitutes.We went to the assigned classes. The first year B.Ed trainees from KUCTE Kariavattom who came for their induction program also went for substitutions. After that we done our lunch duty of serving meals to the students from 12:30 PM  to 12:50 PM. After all classes National Anthem was around 04:00 PM after that we done our evening discipline duty, later signed our attendance and left the school.

National Educational Conference

We attended a national seminar today in British Council Library, YMCA Trivandrum  about the topic  "VOICES OF CHANGE: INSPIRING THE NEXT GENERATION  TO EDUCATION FOR TOTAL CONCIOUSNESS"  on 8th November 2024.We reached the hall by 9:30am. The seminar started by 10 AM.The  Presidential address was by Dr Kiran Vyas, GEP Raj Bhavan Chair.The Inaugural address was by Dr K Jayakumar IAS , Former Chief Secretary Govt of Kerala.Many paper presentations were taken place based on the topic. It was a very informative session for me as a teacher trainee.

And the headmistress gave us the list of free periods and want to go as substitutes.We went to the assigned classes.I had conducted an achievement test on class 9B on 3rd period. After that we done our lunch duty of serving meals to the students from 12:30 PM to 12:50 PM. After all classes National Anthem was around 04:00 PM after that we done our evening discipline duty, later signed our attendance and left the school. Day 30 (15/01/2025) This was my last day at school as a teacher trainee. I reached the school around 09:15 AM and signed my attendance. The school started with prayer and followed by pledge. Today, I spent a majority of time with my students at class 9B and also spend time with the students of other classes. I had distributed sweets and snacks to them.
