School Induction Program

Day 01 (17/10/2023)

At the first day, we reached the school at 09:00 AM. Then, we met the headmistress of the school Smt Liji L and handed our attendance register to her and put our signature. Then, the HM give permission to collect necessasry datas of the school premises. Then they provide some spaces for our seating arrangement. After that our team is divided into various groups and engaged in various classes as substitutes. I engaged in classes such as 7B, 8C,8B and 8A. I interacted with students and gave them various tasks. At 12:30 PM, the mid day meal was served by our fellow mates to the children and staffs. In the afternoon sessions, our team was engaged in evaluating the OMR sheets of the examination named State Achievement Test Survey conducted by education department, Govt of Kerala. At 03:45 PM, after the national anthem, the school was dismissed.


Day 02 (18/10/2023)

Our team reached the school at 08:45 AM. At 10:00 AM; we met the headmistress and put the signature on our attendance register. I got an opputunity to take a class on 9A. At the same time, some of our fellowmates were assigned substitution classes on LP classes. Then, we were assigned to sort out the answersheet of the examination which was held yesterday. On 12:00 PM, our fellowmates were engaged in serving midday meal to the children. On afternoon session, we were assigned substitution duties in various LP classes. I was assigned in Std 7A and 9C respectively. We spent our time with students by giving various activities like drawing pictures, singing songs, dancing etc. Finally at 03:45 PM, the national anthem, the school was dispersed.
Day 03 (19/10/2023)

Our team reached the school at 08:50 AM. At 09:30 AM, we met the HM and put the signature on attendance register. Various scholarships, awards and endowments were given to merititious students on assembly. At 12:30 PM, our team were engaged in serving mid day meal to the students. In the AN session, we went to the remaining classes for substitutions.  At 03.45 PM, we put our signature and the school was dispersed.

Day 04 (20/10/2023)



Our team reached the school at 08:50 AM. At 09:30 AM, we met the HM and put the signature on attendance register. We went tho the assigned classes. At 12:30 PM, our team were engaged in serving mid day meal to the students. In the AN session, we went to the remaining classes for substitutions.  At 03.45 PM, we put our signature and the school was dispersed.
Day 05 (25/10/2023)

This was the last day of our induction program. Our team reached the school at 08:50 AM and we put our signature on the register. At 10:00 AM, I got an oppurtunity to observe the class of 9A. She handled the class in a very well manner and presented the topic in a sensible manner. On next period, I went to assigned class. On 12:30 PM, our fellow mates engaged in serving mid day meal. On afternoon session, our students were assigned to monitor the class which they are assigned and we attended in various LP,UP classes as substitutes. At 03:45 PM, after national anthem the school was disperesed.

Day 39 ( 28/10/2024 ) I reached the school around 09:15 AM and signed my attendance. The school started with prayer and followed by pledge. And the headmistress gave us the list of free periods and want to go as substitutes.We went to the assigned classes. On 3rd period, I went to my class 9B and conducted an achievement test for the students.  After that we done our lunch duty of serving meals to the students from 12:30 PM to 12:50 PM. After all classes National Anthem was around 03:30 PM after that we done our evening discipline duty, later signed our attendance and left the school. Day 40 ( 29/10/2024 ) Today was the final day of the phase 1 teaching practice of my B.Ed life. I reached the school around 09:00 AM and signed my attendance. National Educational Conference

We attended a national seminar today in British Council Library, YMCA Trivandrum  about the topic  "VOICES OF CHANGE: INSPIRING THE NEXT GENERATION  TO EDUCATION FOR TOTAL CONCIOUSNESS"  on 8th November 2024.We reached the hall by 9:30am. The seminar started by 10 AM.The  Presidential address was by Dr Kiran Vyas, GEP Raj Bhavan Chair.The Inaugural address was by Dr K Jayakumar IAS , Former Chief Secretary Govt of Kerala.Many paper presentations were taken place based on the topic. It was a very informative session for me as a teacher trainee.

Teaching Practice Week 8 (Phase 2)

Day 29 (13/01/2025) I reached the school around 09:15 AM and signed my attendance. The school started with prayer and followed by pledge. And the headmistress gave us the list of free periods and want to go as substitutes.We went to the assigned classes.I had conducted an achievement test on class 9B on 3rd period. After that we done our lunch duty of serving meals to the students from 12:30 PM to 12:50 PM. After all classes National Anthem was around 04:00 PM after that we done our evening discipline duty, later signed our attendance and left the school. Day 30 (15/01/2025) This was my last day at school as a teacher trainee. I reached the school around 09:15 AM and signed my attendance. The school started with prayer and followed by pledge. Today, I spent a majority of time with my students at class 9B and also spend time with the students of other classes. I had distributed sweets and snacks to them.
